As an image maker with a studio aArt background I believe in the creative genius of the hand’s wanderings in direct contact with matter where there is no “control z”. Where there is a commitment to exploration, the hand wakes the mind to unknown possibilities defiying perceived limitations. LaBaillage is a small studio dedicated to handmade fabrics, curious about the apparent paradox that lives between traditional textile techniques and my absolute love for abstract expressionist.
The journey continues in search of sustainable practices that include that include natural dyes, up-cycling fabric and color gardens…. and so much more to come….
